What are Inkjet vs. C-prints ?

Large prints are archival pigment prints, also known as inkjet or giclée prints. They are printed on Hahnemühle fine art pearl paper. An inkjet print is a high-quality photographic or fine art print valued for its exceptional color accuracy, rich tonal range, and ability to reproduce fine details with precision. Collectors and artists often favor inkjet prints because they offer archival longevity.

Small prints are chromogenic prints or “C-prints,” meaning they are silver halide color prints made from chemical processes using a darkroom. This type of printing process adds to that vintage feel and brings a deeper and wider range of color without sacrificing longevity. The prints are archival and will last for years to come.

What paper do you use?

Large Prints are beautifully printed on Hahnemühle Pearl paper. In business since 1584, Hahnemühle (pronounced Ha-nuh-mull-uh) offers the best fine art papers in the world. A Germany based company, Hahnemühle paper has been used by artists such as Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali, among many others.

What Framing do you offer?

We offer beautiful, all natural wood premade Quadrum series frames by Neilsen. Please see our premade framing page for a more detailed look at the frames we offer.

Can you help with Framing if I want something different from the premade frames?

At this time we only offer custom framing support for Collector Print clients. If you are interested to see what we suggest for collector prints, please see our Collector Print Framing page.

Do you Gift wrap?

At this time, we do not offer gift wrap.

When will I receive my order?

Print only orders will be shipped within 2-5 business days and premade frame orders can take up to 10 days to ship.

Shipping time, once printed and framed, will be according to your selected preference at checkout.

Severe weather, natural disasters, and other conditions beyond our control can occasionally disrupt our services. If there is an active service disruption, it will appear on the provided tracking information.

Is there a designer discount?

We do offer designer discounts for our collector prints only, please email us at studio@matthewmorrocco.com for more information.

You are a USA based company, do you ship internationally?

We offer free GLOBAL shipping for Small Prints.

Large prints ship anywhere in the USA, EU, and UK. Customs duties will apply for prints shipped outside of these areas.

I ordered more than one item, why are there multiple shipments?

Our prints sometimes come from different facilities and occasionally require multiple shipments to fulfill orders. You will not be charged extra for the multiple shipments but you will receive multiple tracking numbers.
